FESTIVAL

2024

Evolving contexts: opportunities
and challenges for professional practice
Pause, reflect and learn

Coaching, mentoring and supervision conference

23 April 2024

| Online

Focused time for CPD

Our EMCC UK Festival 2024 has been created to offer you time to pause, reflect and learn. We invite you to join us as we walk through streams of knowledge, skill, and practice. The day will also offer you time to pause and reflect on innovative research and its potential influence on how we coach, mentor, and supervise.

Bringing diversity of voice

We have previously relied on a few voices who have pioneered the way for our profession. We stand on the shoulders of these committed patrons, and now want to reach beyond and into the future by bringing a fresh approach and a diversity of voices to our festival.

Experiencing the day

Our day opens with a keynote from our president and an invitation to explore the boundaries and outer territories of practice. You’ll have access to six core subject areas: Wellbeing Coaching, Inclusion in line with other subject areas, Mentoring, Supervision, AI, and Team Coaching.

Each core subject area will deliver:

  • Knowledge Exchange: Speakers exploring current research and practice. In this session we will study newly emerging topic areas.

  • Up-skilling: Speakers will invite us to engage with material and reflect on, and explore our practice.

  • Application: Speakers will focus on the learning of others and how they have adapted what we are learning into their practice. This may focus on a case study or panel. They will share lessons learnt; the opportunities, and challenges they faced and how they have shaped them.

Towards the end of the day, our Director for CPD will outline how the day’s learning and reflexivity can build your CPD profile and, where relevant, your accreditation. Finally, we will end the day with appreciation from our wonderful non-executive Directors, and the unveiling of the EMCC UK Bursary Fund.

Join us, and your peers.

Let’s create our future together!
